Where the hell have I been?!

Sup everyone, I have been away for fucking ages and I figured that the least I could do for anyone who actually reads this page, is write another artical and explain where I have been.

Well I have recently gone back to college, I am studying web design, it is totally new for me but lets just hope that it goes down well. I have made some videos for my youtube channel, there are a few more videos in the works but I have been really busy latley so it may be a while before another one goes up.

I haven't Put up any text reviews in a while, mainly because in all in honesty, I can't be arsed.

But I have been working On my top 30 favourite films list, the top 20 has been decided, I just want to make it 30 to give a good word to the many films that i love, I don't want to give anything away just yet but i think it is a pretty good list.

just for shit and giggles i will give u a list of films I have recently seen and give you all my scores on them.

Robin B hood - It is a pretty fun caper with Jackie chan, it can be a bit embarissing but if you watch the movie it all makes sense, there are some pointless things and it can be a bit wierd but none of those are really that big of a deal considering that the pointless moments are so small they are not worth mentioning. Overall, good action and really funny. ****/*****

It's a mad, mad, mad, mad world - Classic slapstick comedy, even though it is very long I can't help but laugh, it is just brilliant, and it has one of the greatest endings in cinematic history.

The Karate Kid - The original is classic, the montages, the characters and the soundtrack is what it is all about, the story is pretty typical but the entertainment value is great and it leaves you with a warm feeling by the end. ****/*****

Agent Cody Banks - Even though saw this movie years ago i have never mentioned it before, I recently watched it again and I have to admit it is pretty fun and sometimes clever, some of the acting could have been better, it is pretty stupid sometimes and the whole idea is a bit far fetched but the gadgets and the explosions are great fun, but it is okay, the sequal sucks though.

Everything has gone completly fucking nuts! - Software Issues and Vannessa Hudgens does it again!

Hello everybody again, as you may have seen in my last post I have had a series of videos planed out for a while and only some of them have come through.

Some of them like the Cluedo review have not yet been filmed because I have been really busy lately revising for music theory and mixing music tracks at college, yeah sounds like fun right?
Well guess what, it isn't, plus my editing software keeps fucking glitching up and it is really starting to piss me off, sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't.

When it does work I do manage to get some videos done, but of course there is more, I haven't been releasing videos for sometime now because I am just so damn tiered from traveling back and forth to college from brechin to aberdeen, now that just sucks on every level.

But of course today my mood has changed after finishing the Top ten Jackie chan films video that should be up soon, and I am really happy with that video, but also finding out about how much Vanessa Hudgens really likes to get nude, Again, as more photo's get leaked to the web.

I mean what the fuck, how does this happen, does she get payed? Do the press hack her phone? Does she keep sending them to other retards? Or does she just like to prove that just because she does kid films doesn't mean she's a good girl (Kinky), I wish that were so, I mean i don't want to sound like a typical blogger who has been offended ( which i am not offended in any way, she is very fucking hot), but if she is going to keep doing this maybe Zac Effron should come to his senses and go with her or at least she should get payed for it for showing off her awesome body.

I think I should stop right there before I go too far, bottom line, more videos will be up soon on youtube and Vanessa should also keep sending in the photo's, it seems to be the only way she is going to progress her career.

By the ay i know I am a little late on the whole Vanessa thing I just wanted to point it out.

"Street fighter the movie" 1994

Well being that I have already reviewed "Street fighter the legened of chun li" I figured it would only be necaserry to reveiw the orignal live action movie.

What can I say about this movie, well the only thing that I think can be said is, well, it was pretty crap, but in a good way, ha, you were not expecting that now were you?

But first I think it s only necaserry I point out what is wrong and right with the movie.

Now even though "Jean Claude Van Damne" looks like Guille from the game, tell me one simple thing, does he at any point in this movie sound like an American. Half the damn time you can hardly understand a word that he is saying, but then it gets to his imfamous line "Get da Hostages Out!", but for me it was just hallarious to listen to, and watch "Van Damn" try to act, it's kind of like watching a Schwarzneger movie even though he such a bad actor he is such a delight to watch, and not to mention it is kind of funny.

The rest of the casting isn't actally all that bad, all of the people look like the characters they are supposed to be playing like, Ryu, Ken, balrog, E. Honda, Blanca, zangeif, M. Bison, and Chun Li, Unlike in...............That other film. the only Character that they got completly wrong was dhalsim who at first looks like a scientist and then for a little bit we don't see him and the next time he comes back on camera he looks like a monk slash indian warrior, and the movie of course decides not tell us what the hell happened.

The acting, for some people was o.k., but for some others like the guy plays Zangeif, the guy who plays Blanca and of course the star of the film, Van Damn, it is pretty apparant they can't act to save their lives. For one thing the guy who plays Zangeif seems like he has never acted before in his life and all he seems to do is just yell like a retarted wrestler, but then again I guess thats what the character is like in the game, and blaca just talks in that really low voice and tries way too damn hard.

The action scenes are O.k, the only one that wasn't that good was the one where guille and M.Bison have their final fight and in some places it so obvious that they are repeating footage, and in one spot where Bison is supposed to be flying from off camera, into a computer it seems like he's just runing in for the other side and it was just fucking hallarious, and then the movie decides to rip off star wars and have M.bison wearing a Life support system in his suit like Darth Vader and then shooting lightining bolts like te emporer, WTF!

The Story, of course, has absolutley nothing to do with the street fighting Tournament, I mean come on, what is so damn hard about making a movie about a bunch of people fighting in a martial arts tournament, "Enter the Dragon" With "Bruce lee" did it and it was one of the best martial arts films ever made, and not to mention it's pretty much all Dragonball z lives for anymore so why the hell not?

But Overal this for me is just so over the top, stupid and badly acted and some of the action scenes are so awesome that you don't give a flying fuck about anything wrong with the movie, even though it is pretty apparant that there is loads wrong with it.

"Street Fighter - the legened of Chun Li" 2009

Why is it, every time hollywood tries to make a movie based on a game it allways seems to fail.
Imean "Mortal Kombat" was O.K and "Hitman" was O.K., but it seems every other attempt at trying to make a movie based on game is a complete failure, and for me one of the best examples is "Street Fighter - The legened of Chun Li".

One of the real sad things about this was that it was made recently, and it just shows how hollywoods attempts to cash in like this haven't change and they allways seem to fail.

But enough of my Blabbing, lets talk about the movie.

The first Problem with this movie is how it has nothing to do with the Street Fighter games.

For one thing they got Chun Li's background story completly wrong, anyone who reads the manual for the games can find out what the back stories are.

In the game Chun Li is out seeking revenge for the Death of her Father and she is after a gang of smuglers which leads her to the street fighting tournemant, in the mmovie however Chun Li's Father is Captured by Bison and Balrog, at this point Chun Li is living america living with her family (and any morron would know that she was born and raised in Hong Kong and didn't go to america until she went into the street fighting tournament), and she then travels to Bangkok (which wasn't even one of the locations in the Game! WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) to find Ken and train with him and then to find bison and seek revenge.

Wow it's bloody amazing how much the movie has nothing to do with the game in which it is FUCKING NAMED AFTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The next main problem with the movie is the casting, the casting is absoluttly horendus, none of the people in the movie look anything like the Charcters that they are supposed to be playing, the worst example is, in the game Ken is a Blonde American guy, in the movie he's played by a Chinese guy with the long black hair, Talk about the complete fucking oppisite!
Next and most immportant, Chun Li who in the game is Asian, in the movie is played by an American woman, WTF!

Balrog is played by Michael Clark Duncan, now I love this guy but my god was he misscast, not only does he look absolutly nothing like Balrog from the games, he doesn't even act like him, that is just fucking rediculous.

And of course the main villian of the Movie M. Bison, who, take a wild guess, Looks nothing like M. Bison, he doesn't even dress like him or act like him or do any of his special moves, good god the M. Bison in "Street fighter - The Movie" was way fucking closer to him than this pile of Steeming dog Shit.

The only character that was partly done right was Vega, but guess what, he's only in the movie for about 2 minutes, the one character they got right and he's only in the movie for 2 minutes, WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now we're onto something that anyone could guess hollywood would fuck up, the Special effects, which in the movie are just so damn obvious and look like they were just cut and pasted in at the last minute. One of the worst examples is when not Balrog blows up not Kens house just before not Chun Li shows up, and it just looks so not realistic, and fucking horribly inserted.

The Script as you might guess is filled with one liners, cliche ideas and unoriginal plot devices, for example, there's a side plot involving interpol and a buch of special agents that have been going after bison for fucking ages, and as you can tell, there doing a fucking horrible job at it, and besides, didn't Hitman already do the whole thing with interpol going after agent 47. So let me get this straight, this is a movie based on a game, ripping of another movie based on a game, WTF!

The only thing about this movie that is remotly decent is some of the action scene, but like I said only some of them, some of them are pretty good and some of them are pretty bad, I didn't even know that was possible in one movie, but well, there we go.

Seriously I totaly forgot, I mean it's still early days, but damn, anyways not only am I here to say happy new year I am also here to talk about more movies.

In this artical I'm going to not only discuss movies that I have seen over the past year (2009) but I am also going to discuss a shitoad of cool releases this year, and beleive me I have got plenty to mention, so I'm just gonna give breif impresions of each one, I may do more detailed reveiws on either youtube or here on blogpsot.

Movie's I saw in 2009 (Not all these movies are from 2009)

Bad boys - ****
Cool actors, cool story and cool action, this is bad ass!

Bad boys 2 - **
Dumb, but watchable.

New moon - **1/2
Cliche moments, pointless moments and dumb moments, for me however there was some entertainment to be found.
(More detailed reveiw to come on youtube).

Star trek (2009) - ****
Kick ass visuals, cool actors and kick ass action.

The medalion - *
So crap it make me cry.

Hook - *****
Amazing.

Anchorman - ****
Really funny, Will Ferrall is awesome.

Lesbian vampire killers - ***
Dumb, but thats why it's so funny.

W. - ***
One or two pointless scenes and some underacting, but Josh brolin kicks ass and this movie is pretty cool.

Conan the barbarian - ****
Arnold kicks ass!

Day of the dead (2008 remake) - **
Nothing to do with the original film, there were one or two cool ideas but overall bad but watchable to an extent.

Magnum Force - *****
The second Dirty Harry movie, kicks ass!


Stuff that I am looking forward to this year

Bioshock 2 (xbox 360) -
Loved the first one, I just hope that this one is even better.

Aliens vs Predator(xbox 360) -
It looks really cool but can it be as good as the movies.

Guitar hero Van Halen -
Van Halen + Guitar hero = AWESOME!

Toy story 3 -
I loved the first 2 movies, I can only hope this one is just as good.
