Well it's christmas time again and what better way to go than reveiw a bunch of films that I saw very recently, now most of these movie aren't brand new they have been out for some time, I just watched them recently and I just want to give them my honest opinion so, here we go.
Anchorman - ****
Yup I didn't see this movie until just a few weeks ago, after so many people badggered me to watch this film I finally bought the film on DVD and watched it, and well I can say that this is one of the funniest films I have ever seen, the humour just never stops coming, and with Will Ferrell in the leading role how could you go wrong, and trust me they didn't. With it's coll 70's setting, it also gives us more humour, with a lot of sexist humour which just makes it even funnier, and it's clever camp appeal just never gets tiering as the movie continues, along with it very funniy yet dumb humour. Well now, was there anything wrong with this film, well just little Nit picks. For example, the way Ron ( Will Ferrell) Just imediantly accepts his job back after the way people had been treating him, to me seemed a bit odd, and the way his news team just say's "Yeah sure we'll come back to you, now that you have your job back" (Sarcassm) once again just seems a bit odd, and of course does not seem much like freindship other than just beeing assholes. Now I know what some of your are going to say, it meant to be ridiculous, well here's the thing, there being Ridiculous and then there just being ridiculous and these things for me stuck out as being a bit odd, but I didn't ruin the whole film, far from it, anfact I fucking love this movie, it's fantastic and I expect nothing more than for every person this planet to watch it.
Lesbian vampire killers - ***
Wow, who would have ever though that there would ever exist a movie called "Lesbian vampire killers" ever one of the taglines for the movie was "Well, what else were we going to call it", and I can honestly say I can't imagine any other name for this movie, maybe " Guy's who kill vampires who are lesbians", but that would suck. But oh well, what did I think of the movie itself, one things for sure, It was very funny , but can I be serious, the only reason it was funny because it was so stupid, but that isn't to say there wern't any good jokes to be found because there were a couple of jokes that were more standard rather than something you would see in a horror spoof like say " Shaun of the dead" but rather in say something like "Superbad", but yeah like I said the movie was pretty dumb and a bit short for my liking, it was only about 75 minutes long which isn't bad but I would have prefered a few extra scenes just to maybe develope things a bit more. But other than that, this film was very enteraining and it is a true man's film, try watching this film on a night in with your girlfreind, I'd like to see their reaction. So yeah very funny and very entertaining but could have been better.
Hook - *****
Well, what a way to end this artical, this movie is truely spectacular, every bit about this movie is great, the special effects are amazing, the entire cast was perfect for every role that they played, the storyline was actually very clever on how they had Peter Pan grew up and have to learn how to fly and fight again to rescue his children. The whole film has a real charm to it and by the end you'll be thinking happy thought's just to see if you can fly (I tried and failed, Home alone 4 must be plaging on my mind, damn that movie). But yeah just trust me when I say this movie is truly amazing, if you haven't seen this movie, go buy it or even rent it just to see it because it is absolutly worth it 100%.
Merry christmas to you all, or whoever reads my blog.

New up coming videos
Hey guys, sorry I've been away for so long (For those who actually read my site) I have just been really busy latley writting new songs, working at college, preparing for nabs and so on and so forth.
Essentially, here's the deal i the next four videos planned out, and buy the way they are all going to be in much better qaulity picture than usual, I'm going to keep the old vids up though for nostalgic purposes, plus I think the bad qaulity makes the video's even funnier to watch so there, the following videos are the following.
Reveiw - The Medalion
Reveiw - Quarentine & Rec
Reveiw - Twilight & New Moon
Reveiw - Phantom of the opera (2003)
Each one of these reveiws have something of a connection, by the way for me this is actually going to be pretty weird going from horrible qaulity to great qaulity, being that I have over 75 videos out at the moment so I might rush out loads of videos to compete with that (I suppose).
So Hopefully these new reveiws will get me more veiws and maybe people will take more of a look at my older videos and laugh at how bad they look, but hey please don't judge by their bad qaulity picture judge on what the video is actually saying, however i might replace some of the old song covers i did.
Thanks for reding.

New videos and new megadeth album tribute
For a while now and some of you may have notice that I have put new videos up on youtube all of which are covers of songs by fucking awesome bands, well at least they are in my opinion, but well the main reason I'm here is because from now on I am gonna put links of all my videos on this page when I can plus of course other articals, so here are the links.
Wake up dead (Megadeth cover)
There we go, oh and by the way yes I am aware of the new megadeth album out now, infact I have been fucking hyped up for it for over the past year or so, I have only heard one song from it, that on being head crusher and trust me when I say it rocks. At the moment I haven't got all of the megadeth albums, but here's a list of the ones I have and my general opinions of them.

"Killing is my business .... and business is good" - 7/10 - Fast riffs and amazing technique but maybe it's a little too fast for some people, but still worth a listen.

"Rust in peace" - 10/10 - Awesome, one of the best metal albums I have ever heard in my life, amazing songs, listen to it now.

"Countdown to extinction" - 9/10 - The first time megadeth ever made it to number 2 on the album charts and it shows, it's a little bit more mainstream but only by like a tiny bit but it's still pretty heavy, it's kind of like there equivelent to "Metallica's" "Black album" if you will, but it's definatly worth a listen.

Wake up dead (Megadeth cover)
Animals (Nickelback cover)
Colours bleed to red (Fightstar cover)

"Killing is my business .... and business is good" - 7/10 - Fast riffs and amazing technique but maybe it's a little too fast for some people, but still worth a listen.

"Peace sells ... but who's buying" - 9/10 - A great selection of songs, amazing riffs definatly listen to if your into heavy metal

"So far ... so good ... so what" - 8/10 - Cool riffs and interesting vocal techniques but for me the most forgetable of the albums yet, not too many memorable songs but it still kicks major ass and the songs "Mary Jane" and "Set the world a fire" are the best on the album.

Youthansia - 9/10 - This album will always be remembered as to having one of the most shocking album covers ever seriously just look at it. But that aside it is a really good album and the first four songs just say it all, this got them to number 4 on the album charts.
"Cryptic Writtings" - 8/10 - Great albums cools riffs and cool lyrics, and features the only song by megadeth to ever hit number 1, "Trust", it's a bit more mainstream but it's still really good.
Risk - Haven't heard all of it yet.
The world needs a hero - It's fucking hard to find.

"The System has failed" - 8/10 - They left for a while and they came back just as kick ass as ever, brilliant songs lets just leave it at that.

"United abominations" 9/10 - Kicks ass, lets just leave it at that.
"Engame" - Not heard all of it yet
I'll say what I think of endgame once I get it, and maybe some other time I'll do this with some other band, maybe Metallica or Nickelback who know's.

Where the hell Have I been
Well, being that it has been a while since I posted an artical on this page I figured I should give you a bit of an update. Not too long ago of course a I give you all my thoughts on the new "Harry Potter" film, and about a week ago I gave you 2 more videos on youtube, oh and by the way here are their links.
Weirdo's short
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ipVTodL067Y&feature=channel_page
Roland Emmerich movies - reveiws
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-pcZu8ydjsA&feature=channel_page
Of course as some of you may have noticed one of these new videos is a short for "weirdo's", is this the glorious episode 2 that everybody (or whoever cares) has been waiting for?
No, it was just something that me and my freind William just made as a goof and to tell you the truth it's the only one of my videos that has made me laugh in ages, so definatly check that video out whenever you have the time to do so that would be awesome.
Well carrying on, i have also been planing a birthday party and to tell you truth it has been hell to work on, first off telling all my freinds, making playlists and food, glorious food, but it should be fun. I have also been working hard with my band "Eye of the storm", here's our bebo page link.
Bebo page
http://www.bebo.com/Profile.jsp?MemberId=8974795240
But unfortunatly this band may be coming to an end as I am soon heading off for college to do music and I should be staring another band, but check out the page anyways.
So thats about it really, just thought I tell everyone whats been happening, oh and I have also been dealing with the death of two of my idols "Michael Jackson" and also "John Hughs", Just a little side note I should be making tribute videos for these 2 awesome people, so be on the look out for those videos.
There should also be a guitar video coming up, i don't know what song I will be covering yet, it may be a "megadeth" song in honour of the new album coming out "Endgame", and of course there will be another reveiw coming out on this page soon no doubt, I don't know what movie but we'll just have to wait and see eh.
Thanks for reading.

"Harry Potter and the half blood prince" (2009)

Warning : May contain spoilers
Well, let me just get started by saying, I'm a big Harry Potter nerd I have seen all the films but only read some of the books, beacause I'm a lazy bastard, but whatever, I am here today to talk about the latest entry in the Harry Potter Movie, "Harry Potter and the half blood Prince".
Honestly when this movie came out less than a week ago I was actually really looking forward to seeing because the movies have jsut been getting better and better as time goes on, and I assumed that this one would be no exception to all the other movies, and of course it wasn't.
Throughout the movie there is clearly alot of development as far a relationships between certain characters goes, of course as many people know, Hermionie has a thing for Ron, and Ginny has a thing for Harry. Now I have to say I didn't really have any problems with this in fact there are actually alot of humerous moments as far as the relationships go, the only thing that bothered me is that none of these relationships were really developed much, they just sort of happened, all of a sudden Hemionies into Ron and Ginny is into Harry, when did this happen, but really nobody cares you just see how it builds as the film progresses.
About the plot, well I don't really want to give too much away without spoiling the movie for anyone, but really the basic idea is that Harry and Dumbeldor are working together to try and find out exactly how Voldemort is managing to stay alive all this time and how they can stop him, it involves something called a horcrauxe (I think that's how you spell it?) which is when you kill someone, you're soul get's split and put somewhere so you can live on after death, or something like that, which I have to say is pretty cool.
There's also a little bit more emphisis on Draco Malphoy, and how he's chosen by woldemort to perform certain tasks, and this gives and interesting look into this character as we now see how he is just confused and doesn't really want to perform the task given under fear of death, oh and Harry and him get in a fight, but I won't spoil it for you.
So overall Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince was just as well made as any of the other Harry Potter films and I am sure that the next one to come will be no exception.
****/*****
Here's what I though of the rest.
Harry Potter and the Philosiphers stone - ****
Harry Potter and the Chamber of secrets - ****
Harry Potter and the Prisoner of azkaban - ****
Harry Potter and the goblet of fire - ****
Harry Potter and order of the pheonix - ****
Check Out all these movies they rock, and so do the books, well to the ones tht I have read so far.
Thanks for reading.

The texas chainsaw massaccre (1974)

O.k. so today, it's very rare to see a movie that was made so long ago and to have it to be scary, when we watch "Halloween" and "Dracula" we don't get all that scared but that doesn't meen to say that they are not fun to watch. But then came a movie from director Tobe Hooper and he made an extremly ballzy move when he made "The Texas chainsaw massaccre".
One thing that some people might find a bit disapointing is that you don't really get to see a whole lot of chainsaw deaths, some of them are just implied but in one scene you do sort of see someone get fucked up with a chainsaw, but it's not mega gory like in most movies. This movie focuses more on the characters and how terrified they were through this whole ordeal, and honestly it still works, even by todays standards it's still a pretty freaky movie.
The whole film has a very gritty look about it, and it feels like it could actually happen, today it's mostly just the entertainment to see how many people can get killed in about 100 minutes, but this focuses more on chills and rather than just having blood flying every where.
The final half hour of the film is probably one of the freakiest peices of film I have ever seen and the ending is pure genius with the girl driving of and laughing with an insane sort of look and the final shot of leather face and then just cutting away instantly, was just great.
So while the last half hour was the scariest, the most brutal part was when a girl was hung on a meat hook and was forced to watch someone get cut to bits with a chainsaw. This was made in the 70's right?
The absense of music was another thing that just enhanced the creepy atmosphere and when the music does kick in it's not like a big orchestral score it's more like synth music and it will send chills right down your spine, and when ever the music is played it's allways at the right time, sometimes the sound track it just someone screaming or just the sound of a chainsaw.
If old horror films don't scare you much then I assure you this one will, I mean this was made in 1974 so you can imagine just how terrified people in theaters were at the time.

A masterpeice!
Scary for it's time, and for all time.

[REC]

Okay, Rec, now I'm actually a big fan of camcorder horror films so of course I'm gonna share some of my own thoughts .
All I can really say is, wow, this films has every element a camcorder horror should have plus more. The plot is basically about a reporter who's doing a report on firemens lives and she goes with them on a rescue mission into an appartment building, only to soon be locked in the building by the authorities for reasons unknown.
The whole concept of how we never really know whats the reason behind the building being sealed off only adds to the elements of paranioa going on amungst the characters and the suspense, because you never know what to expect. Towards the end of the movie there are many suggestions as to what might be the reason behind the building being quarantined, but there is never any real explanation to it.
The actors and actresses do amazing jobs, and sometimes it seems like they are actually talking to each other and not just resiting lines from a script, seeing how alot of their diologue over laps one anothers, which delivers a great effect.
A lot of the time, I actually forgot I was watching a movie and in some cases I actually thought that it was real in some places, especially the begining where the woman is just doing a report for a reallity show called "While your asleep", and for that part it actually felt like I was watching the news rather than a movie.
The one scene in particular, that stands out in my mind, iswhen the little girl turns into one of the creatures or whatever, and starts trying to kill people. One thing can be said was that I was honestly not expecting it and the girl was actually pretty scary and she did a very good job in acting, it's not very often you see a child actress delivering such a beleivable and scary performance, especially at such a young age.
But by far, the scariest scene in the whole movie is the final scene in the penthouse appartment, and the moment when it goes into night vision, it grows more and more intense every second, and belevie me when I say this, by the end of this scene you will have shit your pants. But when the end credits roll with that rock and roll song and the title popping up, we're all suddenly reminded, it's only a movie.
I could talk about this film for ages and how much it kicks ass, but really i just have this left to say, it is with out a doubt the scariest movie I have seen in a long time.

Essential veiwing, if you want to be scared then this movie will do it for you, definatly.

"Watchmen" - 2009
Well, earlier today I went to see the new comic book movie "Watchmen", directed by Zack Snyder the same guy who directed "300" and the "Dawn of the Dead" remake.
Well being that this is based on one of the greatest graphic novels ever made it natural for many fans to get all excited and really those who haven't read the book may not get the whole idea.
Fans of the graphic novel should enjoy this movie. Personally I haven't read the book yet but I knew the whole idea of the book and what it was supposed to be, and going into this movie I was actually expecting to get toally lost and not understand what was happening, but no. I actually got what was going on. I can't really explain exactly what it was all about without giving anything away, but to those who haven't read the book or don't know the actual purpose of the book, may just see it as about superheroes trying to save the world but believe me when I say it is way more than just a simple stoyline like that, as some people may put it out to be, which just pisses me off.
The actors and actresses all did a great job, and the man who played Richard Nixon for the most part gave a very believable performance and half the time I forgot that he wasn't really Richard Nixon. Now just to say this, my two favourite characters of the movie would have to be Dr. Manhattan and Rorchach. Rorchach was badass, and Dr. Manhattan was the only one that actually had super powers, so how could you not like that. My only problem with him was that half the time he was walking around naked, and I kept saying "put some fucking pants on man!", but hey, I'm sure the ladies will love it, eh.
The action sequences were some of the best that i have seen in a long time, and unlike in a lot of films now a-days, they were not filmed in extreme clse up, like the action sequences in "Quantum of solcae" or "Batman begins. Not to mention they were very well choreographed, so yeah, the action sequences were great.
The cinemaphotography was great as well, almost all the shots I can think of were epic in some way. The scene where Night owl enters is house with the shot of his figure entering through the door, the shot of Dr. Manhattan on mars, I could go on and on, but I won't. So yeah it's pretty well filmed as many people may see.
Oh yeah and some people are complaining about the length. Honestly, it was a bit long but if they cut out any more of the footage, it would have just confused more people and it would have made the film worse, which was clearly what the director was trying to avoid.
So really all I can say was this movie was weird but in a good way.
****/*****
A sequel, not in a million years. There was only one graphic novel and it should just stay that way. In all seriousness, there is nothing to do. It would suck 3 dicks all at once.
Go see it. It's pretty good, but familiarise yourself with the graphic novel, otherwise you won't get the whole point.

4 movies in 3 days.
Wow 4 movies in 3 days, thats not too bad.
Now to tell you the truth most of these movies are actuall pretty Damn good, some of them you will definatly have heard of, and some maybe not, but building up the suspence of what movies i'm talking about and let's just start Talking about them.
"Lock, stock and two smoking barrels".
This was one of Guy Ritchies first films, many people may have heard of him, and most recently he came back with a new movie callled "Rock and rolla", I haven't seen that yet but really that doesn't matter right now.
The film has a very gritty style to it, being that it portrayes british gangsters it would seem to be appropriate, it's filmed in a way that only guy ritchie could probably pull it off, it has a very unique style to it.
The actors in the movie all do a very good job, and sometimes with the gritty camera work I think I'm watching a documentary.
The storyline, in all honesty I can't really explain, being that there is like 4 sets of characters not really related in much way and they're all going around doing differant things. One of the cool things about this is that they all sort of come together towards the end which just shows how cleverly written this films really is.
Judging by maybe the cover of the dvd, or the look of the movie you may think of this as a Drama, well yes there are elements of drama in it, but it's actually more of a comedy and beleive me when I say this, it is very funny.
All in all I thought Lock stock and two smoking barrels was treat and it's definatly worth a watch.

"Brain dead"
Now many people are gonna be shocked to know that this movie came from the director of the Lord of the rings trilogy Peter Jackson.
This is with out a doubt the Goriest movie that I have ever seen in my life, the amount of deaths in this movie is just astounding and the make up for the zombies is amazing, but also let me tell you that almost every death in this movie is different in some way, wheather the person gets their head ripped off or the have their arms and legs chopped off it's always different in some way or another.
The acting, well all I can say about that is well everyone did a good job, but they all seemed to have this cartoon like qaulity to them, this just added to the slapstick humour that the movie had.
But some people might ask why is it funny, well just because it's so over the top, violent and grotesk, and just as a little side not, when this film first came out to cinemas, they supplied barf bags before people went in, and to tell you the truth I never actually felt like thowing up while watching this which is kind of odd but whatever.
If your a zombie fan or just in the mood for a laugh or to be grossed out then this is deffinatly worth a watch.

"The warriors"
Well just by the look of the cover you can guess that this movie is about gangs trying to beat the crap out of each other, which to many people sounds just plain fucking awesome.
But it would seem that their is far more to it than that, in the begining of the movie it would seem that all the gangs are at trouse, but when a man cyrus, the man who kept all the gangs together is killed the warriors are accused, and the whole movies is basically them fighting off the cops and other gangs in an effort to try and get back to their own territory.
The actors and actresses all do a very good job, the love interest doesn't seem to follow the same sort of template that you would expect for your average love story, and half of the time the guy doesn't even seem to care, clearly stating that he doesn't want to get close to anyone.
The action sequences all looked pretty damn brutal and I would have to say my favourite scene is the fight scene in the mensroom of a subway station with 5 warrioirs against maybe 7 other guys, that just says one thing, don't fuck with the warriors.
Beleive me when I say this movie is not to be fucked with either.

"Scarface"
Al pacino you are fucking amazing as Tony Montana, if some one dared to remake this movie without you then I swear to god they are going down.
All I can say for this movie is it is freaking awesome, the development of tony's character through the movie is jst great, we can see just how mad he is going with the more power he gets, and him going from the bottom all the way to the top is really interesting to watch, the whole idea of the american dream is conveyed really well here.
The sountrack, in some parts reminded me of the music from the original "Assault on precinct 13", but then you get the song "Push it to the limit" and let me just say that that song is awesome. So yes the music plays a big part in the movie and it doesn't seem to make the movie that outdated, but in all honesty I don't beleive in that whole outdated thing anyways, thats all shit.
And I have to say that the final scene is just amazing and really all I have to say now is, watch this movie it is neccaserry, let me just say that now.

This year.
I'm back with my first artical of 2009, and rather than do a review of a movie like I usually do I am going to give you a run down of what should be happening this year.
Well lets get started with one thing that any fan of mine should know (If I have any fans to be found), Weirdo's episode 2, yes I know I made a trailer for it almost a year ago and I have given out many speculated release dates but in all honesty i have no idea whats going on wih that, we have done some filming but we have never edited what we have filmed, so to be frank we will do it and hopefully some time this year we should get it done.
Now moving on, being that my brother is a college doing television production he has been working on short films, one of whitch is done, I have tried to upload it but the format on the disc he gave me cannot be uploaded so chances are he will have to upload it from the college when he can. To what i have been hearing, the next thing he is set to do is a documentary on horror films, I am supposed to be doing a talk on zombie movies, being that I know shit loads about them but whatever if that does get made then hopefully that will be getting uploaded.
All the other videos will most likely just be imitations, guitar covers, drum covers, movie reviews (aswell as reviews on blogspot) and just anything else, oh and competitions entries much like ask that other guy with the glasses, but appart from that there might not be much elses so I'll do my best for whoever cares.
Also if you would like to make any requests for songs for me to play on youtube then you can do any of the following
1.Comment on this artical.
2.Comment on one of my videos.
3. E-mail me on youtube.
It would be much appreciated.
Thanks for reading.
