Top ten films of 2008

Happy new year once again, and what better way to look back on 2008 than to count down the best films to have come out of this year, thats right all you movie buffs out there it's the top ten best films of 2008, let's kick some ass.

Oh and just as a little not most of the films on this list I have either done reviews of on youtube or right here on blogspot so only ones I have never mentioned before I'll do Litlle reviews on.

8. Taken
When I first saw the trailer to this movie I thought, "Liam neeson in paris rescuing his daughter and beating the crap out of some criminals", I thought, AWESOME!!!!

Honestly I have to say I was thourouly entertained by this movie, the plot, besides it's simplisity, actually turns out to be pretty clever and how Sam (Liam Neeson) finds his daughter was actually really cool and interesting to watch and as the film goes on it just gets better and better.

The actions sequences seemed pretty brutal in some cases and filmed with a very gritty style, now it's not filmed in extreme close up like a lot of other action movies you may have seen but it's still not filmed further out to get a total clear veiw, it's somehwere in between those 2 but you get the idea of what they're doing so no real confusion.

Liam Neeson gives a really good performance as the EX - CIA agent Sam and all the rest of the cast do a good job too, and realy there is not too many problems with it the only thing is, I wished it was a little bit longer (not that it was too short it was about 90 miutes) and in that extra length they could have gone into a bit more detail with the story, but what ever i thought it was awesome.

And just as a little side note, the version I saw in cinema's was rated 15, but the dvd version is an extended harder cut rated 18. I have know clue what the extra footage will have. Will it make it any better? I'll just have to wait for the 9th of Febuary to find out.

7.Mamma Mia
A musical starring Pierce Brosnnan with all the music done by ABBA, ths might not be too bad.

Honestly, it's actually a pretty fun movie all the music by ABBA was awesome and Pierce is actually a pretty good singer as are all the rest of the cast, the story centers around the one girls, I can't remember her name, who is getting married and is trying to find her father and she sends wedding invotations to 3 men she believes to be her father.

Not a bad story line and it always has you asking the question who is the father, I'm not going to say anything i am not going to spoil it unless you've already seen the movie.

The acting was pretty well done and I believe that this movie was pretty well cast allthough, when the girls meet each other at the begining of the movie they do this rehearsed routine thing like they're quoting from a movie or something and they all scream, in all honesty I have never seen any girls, let alone fully grown women do that ever in real life so i thought that was kind of strange.

But once you get passed all of the strange moments you will actually be having a fun time and you will be laughing your ass off by the end of the movie I will garauntee you that.

So overall Mamma Mia was actually a funny and fun movie with a lot of good music although there just might have been a bit too many songs, but being that they are all by ABBA only sweetens the deal.

Disney Channel original movies

Oh dear, what have I gotten myself into.

Today I will be looking at what I know of the films produced by disney channel, and for those of you whoe don't watch disney channel, you might be thinking "Hey it's disney these might not be too bad", well all I can say is, thats wishfull thinking my friend.

But to be fair these movies were made for kids, but that doesn't give them all excuses to go of and write crap diologue and give us sometimes incredebly dumb storylines, lets get started.

High school musical - ***
To start off with lets go for a series which actually isn't too bad. The storyline Goes a basketball player named troy winds up falling in love with a freaking hot nerdy science girl named Gabriella when they first meet in a kareoke contest, and when Troy returns home he soon finds that his freinds and basketball team mates are not very accepting to his sudden interest in wanting to be in the school musical with Gabriella. To be honest the music in this film was actuall pretty good and definatly memerable, the actors and actresses to a pretty good job and this is probably the best disney Channel original movie. If you don't agree with me you obviosly haven't seen the others.

High school musical 2 - ***
Once again it was o.k. but not as good as the first one. Now the storyline goes that troy is looking for a good summer job to help raise money for when he goes to college, and throughout the movie we can see just how worried Troy realy is about actually taking charge of his life and being good enough to get to where he wants to go. The storyline once again does a pretty good job as well do the actors and actresses, but the songs aren't as memerable as the first one and sometimes Ashley tisdales performace as sharpey just seems to be a bit silly and kind of embaresing, but most of the time she does a good job of being that snobby girl who just wants to be a big shinning star in an effort to get Troys attention. If theres nothing else on i say watch but, if something else like Speed or Clerks is on, I say stop wasting you time and watch those.

Minute men - **
3 kids who build a time machine, create a black hole and save the world, thats it, nothing more simple but it seem they wre trying to make it seem complecated with some somewhat scientific diologue that I doubt any kids watching this would understand, but it would just make them go, "Whoa". The actors and actresses, some of them do o.k but sometimes it just isn't believable, espcially the jock named Derek, who for me throughout the whole movie had the same tone and look and only time he ever showed any different emotion was when he was calling Virgule a dork, please tell me do you know anyone who calls anyone a dork now a days? So overall Minute Men is nothing more than an ode to other time travelling movies, even the dance scene is trying be like the dance scene in "Back to the future", it's nothing more than chessy music, diolgue and a copy cat film.

Camp rock - **
First off i want to say that for a movie called Camp rock there was no rock and roll in the movie what so ever, it was all pop, R&B and some really bad DJ music. But lets really get going, the movie is about a Girl named Mitchie, played by Demi Levato, who wants to go to a music camp for her summer vacation, and while there all she wants to do is fit in with the popular but annoying crowed. Mean while the leader of a band called connect 3 (The Jonas brothers) called Shane Gray played by Joe Jonas is forced to stay at the camp and teach while he cleans up his attitude.
The jonas brothers all do a pretty good Job in the acting deppartment even though they had never acted before, and demi levato does a good job to, but it doesn't help the film very much, the music for me was in some cases just annoying except for 2 songs "Play my music" by the jonas brothers and "This is me" played by Demi Levato. The whole mvie is just filled with cliche's, bad jokes and there's also the camp director who in all honestly is probaly the worst actor in the movie because you just can't take him seriously and even when he's trying to be funny he's just annoying. There are some nit picks, but in the end the film makes you feel pretty good, but thats about it. Watch it once for curiosity and that should do you.

The Cheetah girls - **
It's a movie about a pop girl band who want to get big, all i can really say is, it's what you would expect. The actors and actresses, do an o.k job I guess for what there is, and really that's all I can say thats good about this movie, to be honest, it's all just one big blur, the music for me wasn't too good, don't get me wrong the girls are very good singers but that doesn't help the film to much. Most of the film is just girls getting mad at each other, getting mad at their parents, getting upset with each other and sometimes, just being abnoxious and unaware of how they are acting. The story for me was rushed into way too fast, they didn't give a lot of time in some cases to develope some of the chararcters espcially how Gabrielle becomes such a snobby bitch who thinks shes a total celebrity. All it does for you is just annoy you to a certain extent and you'll be shutting off your T.V half way through when you eventually realise what you watching, sorry girls but this had to be done.

the Cheetah girls 2 - **1/2
This one did a little bit better than the last one, the acting once again was o.k, but really all the diference is, is that now they are trying to make it big in spain when they sign up for a music festival in Barcelona, and this time there is some stuck up bitch who wants her daughter to win the competition and trys get rid of the Cheetah girls and thats it. It's just the same old spontanious Dance movies and music however i will say the last song in the film was actually for me pretty enjoyable to watch, good job girls you did a little better. Now with the 3rd one coming out, they are now in india, for whatever reason and to be honest it doesn't look so good and as always disney chanel is over hyping it, Great fucking job.

Wendy wu home coming warrior - **
The storyline for this one goes that there is some girl Named Wendy who wants to become home coming queen of her high school, but she soon descovers that she is a yen Warrior who has to save the world from some old chinese monster guy, now that is just a really stupid plot. The acting is not that great but for the most part isn't bad. and to be honest the fight scenes were pretty cool too, but when I hear some of that really chessy diolougue in the later scenes and also some embaressing moments with the monk Chen, it just annoys me a little bit, and near the end wendy just decides who cares if the world becomes evil I want to be the home coming queen. Now tell me whats wrong with that............FUCKING EVERRYTHING!!!!!!!
Overall it not the worst thing to have come out of disney channel but believe me when I say this I have seen so much better, the special effects are just crap and i have seen better acting in other disney films.

Twilight - 2008

When I first heard about this movie, to be honest, the idea sounded kind of cool, it's a love story but with vampires, now I've seen a lot of vampire movies in my day but none like this especially one rated 12A, but the age doesn't matter to much as I'll explain.

The story is simply about a girly named Bella who goes to stay with her father while her mother and new husband go traveling, and while there she meets a somewhat strange boy with super strength, speed and agility, only later does she descover that he is a vampire. Many people may class him as vegetarian, now just to say in this case it means he drinks the blood of animals rather than humans, much like Angel from Buffy the vampire slayer. so to be honest the plot for me was pretty cool and it was a cool take on the love story idea.

How were the actors and actresses you might ask? Well to be honest, they all did a pretty good job delivering some beleivable perfomances with some rather casual diologue, some of the diaologue in some places was a bit monotinous but appart from that it was pretty cool.

In some secenes you might begin to think that you watching an extened music video, as there are many scenes that are just taken over by music and montages of shots of the girl and the vampire Edward. A good example of this would be the scene wher we see edward playing the piano and rather than it just being casual, it's more like a music video.

This movie rather than being hell of violent like other vampire movies you may have scene, it focuses more on the story, now there might be some assholes out there that will think that this is a bad thing but it is actually a good thing as rather than focusing too much on violence, they focused on the more important things, like the story.

There are also some pointless scenes, the best example of this would be the scene when Bella and Edward and his family are playing baseball, now all this scene is, is them playing baseball with music and a bunch of slow motion shot and fog, it was kind of pointless, but not dumb like some people might put it.

So overall Twilight wasn't too bad, it's enjoyable and will satisfy many crowds, movie buff, vampire fans, and love story fans, for me it satisfied all ranges but only to a certain extent.

Ace Ventura movies

Merry christmas to all, now right now I am not going to be reveiwing some christmas movie, however I might do that later in the month, I don't know what movie but you never know, right now I'm going to reveiw the 2 Ace Ventura movies.

Ace Ventura - Pet Detective

The first in a halarious franchise starring the mad man himself, Jim Carrey.

Seriously though who else could play Ace Ventura, I'll tell you who, no-one thats who, I cannot begin to describe how brilliant Jim's performace was in the movie , in fact just the sheer fact that his name is on the package is the soul reason to buy this film, because you know if his name is attached to a comedy it's bound to be good.

the plot is essentially that a dolphin masscot is stolen from a football stadium and Ace is highered to find the criminal, and what follows is a serie of hallarious gags, and a somewhat clever way the Ace actually solves the mistery.

What else could you want from a Jim Carrey movie nothing that's what, but all I can say is that this movie is so much more than a stupid crime comedy I can tell you that now.

O.k let's move on.

Ace Ventura - when nature calls

A sequal, hell yeah the man is back kicking some more ass.

This time, the movie was written and directed by the man who brought us Kung Pow, Steve Odekerk, AWESOME!!!!!!!!!

In this one Ace is in africa and he is assigned to find a sacred white bat and return it to a group of tribes men to prevent a war between 2 tribes, that pretty cool.

As far as gags go it's still pretty funny but there are some moments which are just plain desgusting, stupid and a bit cofusing .

The cast, once again Jim Carray does a brilliant job as Ace and the suppoting actors do an O.k job but they could have done better,

So all and all it is pretty much what you'd expect in a sequal but it's not as good as th first.

This movie is debatably the worst film of all time!

From director Edward D. Wood Jr, come the cult classic Sci-fi thriller................more like sci-fi comedy.

Let me just say that this movie is so bad that it's good, there are so many errors that this makes for a great treat just to watch it.

Lets get to it, the plot involves aliens who are trying to stop the people of earth from inventing a bomb that could destroy the whole universe by resurecting the earths dead, and that's pretty much it, all thats left in the movie is a series of continuity errors and well, let me explain through some examples.

For starters one of the zombies is played by Bela Legosi who played Dracula in the 1931 movie "Dracula", but remember this movie was made in 1959, almost 2 years after his death, so how did Ed Wood make it work, well before hand Ed Wood shot silent footage of Legosi wondering around in his dracula cape just days before he died, footage of him walking out of his house and smelling the flowers, footage of him at funeral and thats about it, and then he incorporated those shot into the film and got his wifes cyropractor to fill in the role by covering his face with the cape, and throughout the movie it is so god damn obvious that it is not Bela Legosi.

One thing that was really weird and pointless was that the movie began with an introduction from Pshycic Criswel, now let me quote part of what he said "Future events such as these, will effect you in the future". Do I need to point out the total stupidity of this line, nope, didn't think so. He also narrartes over some of the film, but only the silent footage shot of Legosi and that is it, after a while you forget that he was even there and we he returns at the end of the film you realise how fucking pointless it was having him there in the first place.

Lets move on, every now and then the film would cut from footage shot in a studio and footage shot outside, just to say the footage shot in the studio look like noght time, and all the footage shot outside was filmed during the day so, whenever there would be a cut from studio to outside it would shift from day to night, now let me just say this happens a lot, and when it does you will be laughing your ass off.

All the actors in the film are just so fucking bad, let me give you an example of the worst actor in the movie, thank god he dies early in the film, woops spoiler. Swedish wrestler Tor Johnson plays a police officer would couldn't act to save his life, the only time he ever acts moderatly good is when he becomes a Zombie, why, because, HE NEVER TALKS!!! When he was alive you could not undertand a single fucking word he said, he just mumbled a lot and gets on your nerves and makes you laugh at the same time.

Then theres as funeral seen and the man playing the preist can't act either, you know what scratch that, the only person who can mildly act in this movie was Paul Marco as the cop Celton who is constantly confused and sometimes acts like an idiot, this has to be a comedy.

What else was there.......................... oh yeah there was a scene where the army attacks the flying saucers (Hubcaps on strings, lol) but all it is, is just stock footage of tanks and jeep shooting into the sky at either airoplanes or they were just testing or something.

There are so many memorable scenes in this movie that I could go on for ages but I am not going to let's just rap this up.

The whole movie has strange use of voice overs, bad acting, bad editing which cut out some diologue, weird special effects, strange use of stock footage, it begins like a really bad documentary and is more like a comedy than a thriller.

Fuck it.

No country for old men

Wow!

This film is pretty damn good.

I'm not going to waste too much of your time so lets just jump right into it.

First off, there is no music in this film what so ever, there is only one moment of recorded music and that is in the end credits. But I would have to say that the lack of music just enhances the suspense factor, other films might just try and use loud noises or creepy music to create and element of suspense but this movie doesn't need that and for that it woks very well.

The plot of the movie involves some guy played by Josh Brolin is out hunting or something like that he stumbles across a whole load of dead bodies, a tonne of herion and over 2 million dollars in cash, after he decides to take the cash he finds himself in a suspensfull game of cat and mouse when an assasin played by Javier Bardem starts going after him to get the cash back, and killing him if neccaserry, even if it's not. And in the mix of all this Tommy Lee Jones is the sherrif of a local police station and he is out to investigate.

So thats about it really, theres only really one more thing left to say, and this is probably regular with Coen brothers films and that is, it gets to be a little bit confusing in places but appart from than that this film is very goodand to be honest with you I really don't know what to give this film.

Quantum of solace

JAMES FUCKIN BOND!!!!!!!!!!!

Daniel Craig is back as James Bond in the new movie "Quantum of solace".Well after Casino Royale it would be a big job to make the follow up and well by watching this movie you can see that it was trying it's best but it didn't surpass unfortunatly, but that doesn't mean to say the movie's bad, lets take a better look into it, shall we.

Before we go into it lets just sort something out here, what the hell does Quantum of solace mean? Well I have a vague idea, Quantum is the name of the secret organisation in the film and solace,.......well I haven't figured that out yet, whatever lets get going.

From begining to end one things is for sure this film has got way more action than the last one, however even though the car and boat chases were filmed pretty well, the other action sequences all seem to suffer from a prblem that many other films seem to suffer from, the camera's are too close and theres a lot of fast editing, you still get the idea of whats going on but it's still annoying in some places.

The other problem is that well the story line was rushed through a bit too quick and doesn't reall give you a lot of time to catch up and get the idea and fully understand whats going on, but by the end you should have a vague idea of what it's all about.

But in the long run apart from these 2 flaws Quantum of solace is not as good as Casino royale, but I do understand that the film makers were obviously under a lot of preassure to delliver a movie that would surpass Casino royale, but in the long run it does develope the characters further and does a pretty good job in carrying on from Casino royale.

By the way, yes the gun barell sequence is in the movie but it is not at the begining, it's at the the end that will be something to look forward to.

P.s. the theme by Allicia Keys and Jack White wasn't too good but it goes well with the title sequence but of course it is no here near as good as the last theme.

Godzilla (1998)

There not much more to say about this movie other than what already has been said a million god damn time's, but before I go in just let me say I am not going to jump in with the rest f the crowed and say that I hate tis movie but nor am I going to jump in with a bunch of idiot's out there and say that this is an awesome movie because, it's not.



But now just before I go in, let me ask you this does this look like Godzilla?






Or does it look more like an interpritation of a dinosaur from one of the Jurassic park movies.

Now, I'm going to just say this, I understand that it was all going to be Cgi and I also understand that they wanted Gozilla to look different, and I am o.k. with that, but that doesn't mean that you can go ahead and take away all of Godzilla's trade marks, e.g. fire breath, atomic breath and of course being indestructable (yes missles and explosive can kill him in this one!!!), however they did keep his trade mark roar, FUCK YEAH!!!

Awesome ain't it?

Moving on now, the side plot is pretty much what you expect from hollywood, a love story, awwwwww. How many times have we seen that!!! Now to tell you the truth not all of it is a love story, part of the side story also involves the french secret service (I don't know why) coming in to try a stop godzilla and destroy it's nest of eggs, thank god someone who knows what the fuck to do.

But you might ask who's in the movie?

It stars Mathew Broederick as a scientist who anlysis radioactive substances and Jean Reno as someone who's trying to make it as a reporter, and the rest of the movie is pretty much the scientist finding ways the capture and take down Godzilla and and the girl trying to make a good story but getting stopped by some other jackass reporter.

Now about Godzilla, like I said he's nothing like the original (expept from the roar), but I will say he still look's pretty cool, and the cgi is o.k compared lot's of shit Cgi that I have seen e.g 10,000 B.C. and I am legened, and some of the scenes where Godzilla or whatever it is, is rampaging through New York and when the army is fighting Gozilla, those I would have to say are pretty awesome.

So all in all Godzilla 1998 in all honesty may as well have just been a remake of "The beast from 20,000 fathoms" and it also ode more to Jurassic park than it did to Godzilla, so in the long run it's not bad but nor is it good.

Superhero movie.

BY GOD!!!!!

A half decent spoof movie!!!!!

Yep after the total shitbombs known only as Date movie, Epic movie, Meet the spartans and Recently Disaster movie (I'll bet), this is a breath of fresh air.

Written and Directed by Craig Mazin all I can say is that thanks god someone knows how to do it right. The jokes are funny, the plot it pretty standard and the whole movie is exactly what you should get for your money, just a good piss take on the superhero genre, with all the cliche's and one liners. Not some dumb ass movie that takes the piss out of totally unrelated movies.

The movie seems to follow a sort of Spider-man template, but on the side makes references to movies like X-men, Fantastic 4 and in one scene Batman begins, HELL YEAH.

Now were there any problems with this movie...............yes.

IT WAS TOO SHORT!!!!

It just barely made it in at the 70 minute mark, where as on the back of the case it said it was 82 minutes long, oh wait that includes the end credits! For the love of god don't include those, include the opening credits if you want they provide some mild entertainment (Yes they even take the piss out of the opening credits of Spider-man, damn Craig thought of everything).

But whatever appart from it being too short, for what it is, it is a funny movie with a well put together plot and pretty good actors and actresses, do you know that Drake bell (Drake and Josh) Is in this movie, and yes he swears, damn I thinks he's on the road to stardom.

Sweeney Todd - The demon barber of fleet street

Well, let me just say for a start that when this film came out I really never had any real interest in it, to me it was just another musical with a strange plot, but let me tell you when I bought this movie today I had seen not much of the film and I knew it was going to just rock.

What can I say about this movie than hasn't already been say a million fucking times, all I can really say is that it was bloody brilliant .

Almost everything I can think of was done extremly well, all the actors/actresses in the film were all just brilliant especially Johnny Depp (I think he should have won that oscar for best actor). The song were all really good, theyy all fell straight into place with the story like they all should, and the cinematography was also great especially the final shot in the film when it fades to black, I could go on and on.

but let me also say this, everyone will atomatically asume that this is all out horror, but there are actually some moments of humour I can't really say without spoiling anything but if you've seen the movie then you know what I am talking about.

But all in all I thought that Sweeney Todd was a very good film and it definatly deserves this rating.

The Dark Knight

Batman is back but this time he shall be known as the dark knight.

Yesterday I went to see the latest installment of the batman series directed by Christophor Nolan, and of course as the caped crusador it is of course Christian Bale who as always gave a brilliant performance as both Bruce Whayne and Batman.

But the one thing that many people have been talking about is how great Heath Ledger supposodly is as the Joker. Now let me say this my favourite Batman villian is the joker and I would hate to be let down but beleive it or not , his performance just stole the show, and in my opinion of all the people who have played the joker Heath Ledger's Joker in my opinion was by far the best not to say that I didn't like Jack Nicholson because beleive me his Joker was also great I just prefer Heath Ledger.

The movie is essentially how Batman has cleaned up the streets up crime but when a psycopathic known as the Joker comes in is main goal is bring down gothams hope by bringing down both batman and gothams new district eternee Harvey Dent played by Alan Eckhart.

SPOILER ALERT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

IF YOU DON'T WANT TO KNOW WHAT IT IS SKIP THIS PASSAGE!!!!!!!!!!!

When Harvey becomes Two face later into the movie this time caused by half of his face being lit on fire, my small complaint is that they just used him up and let him die in the end however the parts in the movie when he is two face he is played very well and with a flip of a coin he decides what will happen to his enemies, but it would have been cool to have seen him in the sequal.

Well thats about all I have to say about this movie all and all the hype for this movie was worth it it kicked major ass and in my opinion I think it was better than Batman Returns, Batman Forever and Batman and Robin.

I might change it you'll never know this is just my thoughts on it now bear in mind I only saw the movie yesterday.

This movie kicks ass, go see it now wheather your a Batman fan or just a super hero fan, go and see The Dark Knight.

Diary of the dead

Well, now That I have seen diary of the dead I figured it would be decent to live up to my promise so I'm here to say what I thought.

Diary of the dead or as it is called by the students who supposodly made this film "The death of death", the movie is essentially about a group of film students who are making a horror film in the woods when they hear the news that the dead are returning to life, they then turn their cameras to the real life horrors that they see before them.

Unlike "The blair witch project" or "Cloverfeild" the cameras in this movie are not very shaky, being that they are students the cameras most of the time stay still, and also it is treated more like a film rather than just old home video footage by the way that it is edited, like a student film, and whilst your watching in many places you begin to think it's real, or at last I did, Until I reminded myself that it's fake especially in some places when CGI is used.

Romero obviously was taking a look at the media and about how every different news channel or blogger on the internet has different veiws to the truth and that with every blogger and News channel there is potential lies and there is really no good veiw of the truth, which if anything is the message that this film might be trying to put out, but all I say is, beleive what the fuck you want.

So all in all this movie is a big leap from the Big budget celebrity packed Land of the dead and back to good old fasioned indy film making, it's very well written, very well acted and well........ very good every thing to be honest with you and to what I have seen of the documentary style filming so far this is by far the best.

After being away for over 2 months I have decided to do reveiws on all of the dead movies from the great George A. Romero starting with ...........

Night of the living dead.

What can I say about this classic horror movie other than it's just great, I will say the plot is pretty simple, a women runs into an old farm house after her brother is killed by a Zombie, once she is there she meets up with a group of other people but being in complete shock she is unable to comunicate with others, and together hey must make it through the night of the living dead.

To what there is of it today it is still rather disturbing and I can't imagine how terifying it must have been for people back in the 60's when this was released like the bit where a zombie child kills her mother wiht a gardening tool, and the lack of music in many places just enhances the mood and the whole movie together seems to work very well so I say watch this movie wheather you are a horror fan or a zombie movie fan I say see this.

Dawn of the dead

The original dawn of the dead in my opinion is my favourite zombie movie of all time, the plot is essentially a group of people take refuge in a shopping mall away from the zombie where they will have plenty of supplies and other things. Now one thing I would have to say is that this movie definatly does not lack in humour, there are many funny moments in it like the bit where they were going around the mall picking up bodys while some weird mall music is playing and theres also a fucking pie fight scene, can you beleive that, when first saw that I just went insane with laughter, I mean this is a zombie horror not a fucking circus, but it made so much better with the humour that it has, infact many people judge the remake of this on the grounds that it lacked the humour that made the first one so great, now let me just say the this the remake is also very good so I say watch that and this.

Oh my god!!!!!!!!!!


This movie is so gory, we've got people have there guts pooring out, we've got zombies getting there heads choped in half with shovels, people getting their throats ripped out and the list goes on and on and on. To what I have seen of zombie movies so far in my opinion this is by far the most disturbing yet. This one takes place many months after the first outbreak and now a group of scientist are working underground to find a way of controling or destroying the growing number of zombies on the above ground before they are taken. This In George Romeros opinion is his favourite of his dead series now in my opinion in it is the third best, with Night of the living dead being second. My only small, tiny complaint is that there are some moments in the movie which I either don't see the point in or just don't get what is going on, but most of the time it is easy to understand whats going on, so all in all it is a very good movie iand is definatly worth seeing especially if you are into strong gory effects, thank you Tom savini (Special effects and make up maestro).

Now that the world has been over run by zombies, the survivors now live in walled off cities in which the the rich live in high, secure buildings where as the poorer class are confined to the slums, Romero comes back with more of his black humour in this rather big budget celebrity packed zombie epic, allthough the actors are very good and the script is well written I will say this was a bit of s dissapointment after seeing all of his other works but in the long run this was still a pretty good movie with some cool gory moments although just to say there are some scenes which in all honestly see rather pointless and really just should be there but those scenes are still very entertaining what are the scenes you might ask well I have 2 things to say to that....

1. I can't remember any in particular.

2. Watch the movie and you will see.

But just to say there is no need for those scenes doesn't mean they don't rock.

It was tough to come up with a rating for this one, definatly not 5 stars either 4 or 3, so just for the hell of because it is still very entertaining I gave it 4, so there you go.

I haven't seen Diary of the dead yet but when I do I will be sure to post a reveiw of it.

Cloverfield (2008)

Cloverfield, what can I say, this is a actually pretty good, there is not much I can say beyond that except maybe this, having the whole movie filmed like it was coming from a home video camera is something that I think neede to be done with this genre, as we all know the most famous film with this technique is probably The Blair Witch Project and now we have another movie out with a similar method Diary of the Dead but now we take a look at the great monster movie genre.

Yes this is a monster movie some people didn't know that but thats what this movie is but anyways, the movie did have some scare moments in it mainly jump scares which in some cases actually work very well, one other thing that I wuold have to say is that the special effects are actually very good and being that it's comming from a home camera it makes it seem even more real, I also have to say I like how it doesn't open like a real movie it opens like you are looking in government files which sort of adds to the atmosphere and it works very well I have to say that.

Now I have to say there are if anything only 2 real problems with this movie, one being that a lot of the time it gets a bit confusing like you keeps asking yourself what is going on I don't get this o.k. there's a monster attacking the city yeah but what else is happening, and another being that it does seem a bit short I would have preferd it to be a bit longer.

One thing that also worked well was how sometimes it kept cutting back to some of the footage they were taping over so when it all comes together in the end it sort of makes a story so that worked pretty well, and another thing is that well I would have thought this would be one of those movies where you don't really see the monster that much like you just see little glimpses of it but without spoiling the movie you actually get a clear glimps of it near the end and when a I say that I mean that it stanting right in front of the guy with the camera but just one more thing it ends kind of deppresing, all though right at the end they cut back to some old footage and they try to end it on a light note and if anything the relationship between 2 of the main characters does sort of work out right before they cut away to some of the old footage but thats enough I dont't think I need to say anymore.

This is a pretty good movie and pretty original in some parts and the whole one camera thing works very well so check it out, but just as a fair warning if you suffer from motion sickness from this then don't watch this, it won't help especially on the big screen check it out either on youtube or when it comes out on DVD.

Rambo (2008)

Not long ago I did a reveiw of all the Rambo movies, first blood, Rambo first blood part 2 and Rambo 3, and now very recently I watched Rambo and now I am ready to say what I thought, this movie was far better than what any of those dumb ass critics say that it is.

The movie is about a group of christian aid workers who go in to Burma to help out some of the communities, and incase you didn't know there has been a civil war going on in that country going on for over 60 years, but anyways when they get kidnapped by some asssholes there is only one man who can save them, who, well take a wild guess.

But anyways one thing I would have to say is that this is definatly with out a doubt the most violent of the Rambo movies yet infact it's the most violent war movie that I can think of you thought Saving Private Ryan was violent well, look again, this just takes the cake.

The movie I thought was a better than 2 and 3 but it's not as good a first blood I will give you that but I am having to give this one a pretty high rating but this doesn't mean that it is just as good a first blood this just means thats it's almost as good but still far off.

AWESOME!!!

Check it out it's a great movie and it has a lot of unique points to it, and one thing I would have to say is that well this movie does make you feel distant from the other Rambo films but that just says leave out the other films and watch this one this explains the whole thing.

There is talk of Rambo 5 infact Stallone has even said he has started writing the first draft already and he might make a slight change from action drama to something else, but for now watch this movie it's fucking bad ass, but one thing I would have to say is that it may not be the most well written movie you may see but you will not be disapointed.

Southland Tales (2006)

Richard Kelly, the man who brought us the great movie Donnie Darkro a completley mental movie if you think about it, but if you want to see completly mental then go and watch one of his other movies, such as say Southland Tales, now let me just say this, it is one of the weirdest and most complicated movies that I have ever seen in my life.

Now that doesn't mean to say that the movie is a pile of shit infact it's better than what many critics are judging it to be, some people judge the movie very harshly just on the grounds that it's really confusing, well thos people are fucking idiots.

Now I am not going to bother to tell you the plot of this movie I'd may aswell go through the whole movie in extreme detail, one thing I would have to say is that the movie starts to make more sense about and hour and 2o minutes into the film but the rest of can be really confusing especially the end so all in all Southland tales isn't bad and it's definatly not as bad a all these critics are making it out to be.

Iron man (2008)

Well no after beeing gone for so long I think it would be appropriate for me to do a review of recent movie , especially one that only came out very recently, how about Iron man.

When I heard it was coming out in all honesty I actually got really excited and judging it from the trailer you know exactly what to expect, it's an epic superhero movie, after seeing alot of 3 star flicks in the cinemas latley I had say I alomost lost hope in movies now adays however going to see this completly changed my mind maybe their really is hope in cinema after all.

The plot is about a man named Tony Stark who designs weapons for his country however when on a mission to demonstrate a new weapon the army somewhere in the east he is kidnapped and is forced to build a missle for the enemy , but instead build a prototype for something big, and he kicks some serious ass and gets the fuck out of there and throughout the rest of the movie we see improving the suit, kicking some ass and beating someone close to his equal but not quite.

The whole movie explains everything very well and being over 2 hours long it has time to do so, all the charaters are played very well and the movie it self stays very true to the book but also with some uniques parts, so all I can say now is...............

Where the f**k have I been?

Well to be perfectly honest with you lets take a look at the list.

1. I have been filming weirdo's episode 2 were half finished by the way.

2. I have a band now and I have been rehearsing with them.

4. And last but now least I have been lazing around playing video games and watching movies.

I am hoping to get some more filming done today if possible and that ghost video I was just talking about well I don't really wish to upload that just yet I still have a few ajustments to do and I wish to make my 20th video weirdo's episode 2 and as a bonus I will upload that video just for a laugh and to hopefully make up for the fact that it has been over 8 months since the first episode of weirdo's was released so hopefully I will finish weirdo's episode 2 at the end of the month and have it uploaded by then but I can't make any promisses if it's not finished by the end of the month then I might just upload the ghost video I made, oh well I will alert you all as to when it will come out.

Well being that it has been ages since I have posted anything on this damn blog I think I owe it to whoever reads this blog t post something, so being that I have reveiwed rocky already why don't I reveiw the rest of the series , and of course lets start where I left off at rocky 2

Rocky 2

This in my opinion was probably the best of the sequals in the rocky series, this advances the story from rocky after his fight with appolo and when Appolo chalenges rocky to rematch, rocky then chooses that time to retire so that he can have a regular life with his wife and beeing that one of his eyes is badly damaged it would not be the best idea to go out and fight, however after several humiliation tactics from Appolo he's is forced back into the ring and soon becomes the new heavyweight champion of the world, the movie is a must for any Rocky fan the motage is one of the best and the end fight was brilliant, check it out.

Now this movie in all the series was definatly not the best but it is still worth watching, clubber lang played by Mr T is the main apponant in this movie and as he comes in and takes the championship belt from Rocky he finds himself working with Appolo to train and get that belt back from him, the movie all in all is good and worth watching but what is up with Rocky, wy does he keep tring to retire and at 32 what the fuck, oh well check it out it is o.k and worth seeing a couple of times.

O.k this one in my opinion is easily the worst of the series, after Appolo being killed in a brutal boxing fight against the world amature champion for the soviet union Ivan Drago Rocky finds himself taking to the mountain f siberia in his traing to beat Ivan and avange the death of his freind Appolo creed, this is the worst of all the Rocky movies but is worth seeing maybe once or twice but after that there isn't too much, the most apealing bit in this movie is probably the end fight, but one thing that really pissed me off is that at the begining for Paulies birthday rocky gives him a robot, WTF!!!!!!!!!

This contnues on from Rocky 4, Rocky has arrived back in Phillidelphia his home town and after descovering he has brain damage he is forced into early retirment, and now descovering a new young boxer Rocky is willing to do anything for Tommy to make it big in boxing with the feeling that if Tommy wins rocky wins. All in all this is a good movie I have to say exeeded my

expectations , all in all this one is a good watch although I would have to say it is the most dramatic of the lot.

By the indication of the title and even Syvester stalone himself this is definatly going to be the last of the whole series meaning there is never going to be another Rocky movie, that's a damn shame but what can you do, I would have to say he ended the series just right, no that his wife is dead Rocky is now living a rather loanly life and after seeing a match simulation on T.v of him and the current heavy weight champion Mason Dixon , Rocky then gains a profesional boxing licence and cimbs back into the ring for one more fight what will it be, win, lose or draw, watch the movie and fid out, this was really goo movie, great way to end the whole of the series.

Very Friggin' Bad Things!

It's time for another movie review. And trust me, this one is damn good.

First of all I have to say that this movie is not for children, or people who are easily offended by swearing, bloody violence, prostitutes, murder and corpses.

Now that we've gotten that out of the way, let's talk about this movie. In "Very Bad Things" a group of guys take their friend to Las Vegas for a batchelor party before he gets married. Everything goes as planned.... That is until they accidentally kill a prostitute. Now firstly I'd like to say that this movie is not a rip off of "Shallow Grave" like many have claimed. "Very Bad Things" is simply another movie in a long line of black comedies that involve the discovery or the disposal of a dead body or the cover up of a murder, and the incidents that occur subsequently (See "Shallow Grave", "The Trouble with Harry", "Arsenic and Old Lace", "Heathers" and "Death Becomes Her").

But anyways, this movie is very well done. It's insanely well written by actor/writer/director Peter Berg and it stars one of the most awesome actors ever, "Christian Slater" who is no stranger to murder as he was in another great movie "Heathers". Not only is this movie hilarious, it's also very dark which will satify those who, like me, have a twisted sense of humour. It's basically a movie in which a bad situation just gets worse and worse by the minute, until it everything finally just ends up in the crapper, so to speak. Whilst the ending is quite tragic (Especially when thought about for a while) it's also funny as hell, and it's a hell of a lot lighter than the original ending (Which you can find on the IMDB in trivia).

Inevitably of course I have to compare this to the badass of black comedies Danny Boyle's "Shallow Grave", and while this movie came damn close, it didn't manage to surpass Danny Boyle's masterpiece. Still, there great to watch together along with the other aformentioned movies.

In conclusion the movie is an extremely fun and gruesome experience, with it's sharp witty script and visually interesting camera angles. Something to enjoy with the lads. Preferably during a batchelor party. A cautionary about how too much fun can lead to consequences!

Filming

I haven't updated my blog in the past week or so, the longest period so far, but enough rannting on breaking my lazy record but I have been making up for my time not spent typing on this page by filming weirdo's episode 2< i strated filming on sunday however since one of my actors couldn't come in we had to replace him with someone else not that it really matters or anything I just though that it may be improtant to any one who really cares.
At the momnet we have only managed to film about 3 or 4 minutes of the episode however filming will continue this saturday if nobody is busy if that is the case then we will try and finish it on sunday and hopefully edit it by then aswell if thats not posible then you will just have to be patient and wait another fucking week but that shouldn't be the case and we should be able to finish filming by saturday if none of the cast or crew is working.
And by the way if anyone cares we are using a real camera for this one and not just some shitty camera phone with editing software on it so expect better picture quality, we should have editing software, one of the cast claims to have software that will edited any type of video so we should be in the clear, if this messes up the we will have to probably convert the video to another file type to edit it so there really shouldn't be anything to worry about if there is anyone who really cares, so be on the look out for the video, I will post a link to it on the day of it's realease so don't worry about not finding it.

Grand Theft Auto

O.k we are all familiar with the grand theft auto series on the playstation and the playstation 2, and as we all know the games are totally kick ass, I meen half of what you do is just run around blowing shit up and killing people, what else could you ask for.

WellI can think of a few but the first thing that I want to point out, is the titles.

"Grand theft auto", O.k really cool whats next, "Grand theft auto 2", still cool basic understandable we all see whats going on, then we have , "Grand theft auto 3", great whats next, "Grand theft auto vice City", What the fuck what happened to the numbers, o.k grand theft auto 4 next right?

"Grand theft auto San Andreas", WTF! Come on, What about grand theft auto 4, Then we had, "Grand theft auto Liberty city stories".

I want 4 you fucking Jackasses, There evetually was a grand theft auto 4, but it wasn't for another 200 fucking years until the playstation 3 came out. WTF!

But any ways, I don't really plan on reveiwing all of these damn games seeing as how I only have on of them, and have demo's of some of them but the one that I have and will be reveiwing today is "Grand theft auto - Vice City".





O.k this game did have some advantages to it but there were also many fucking shit bombs, lets take a look at the good things about this game first.

First off, the game play is good, it doesn't just keep repeating the same damn missions over and over again, that's actually a very good idea, in many open world games that I have played over the years half of the time the games just keep repeating the same fucking missions over and over again but this game manges to fix that error.

The sound in this game is pretty good, I mean every now and then the characters voices might go down so low you can't hear them but that's fixed as the game has subtitles, but I would still like to fucking hear them speek, but over all the sound is pretty good.

The graphics compared with games today are not at all that good, but this was actually a somewhat early playstation 2 game so the graphics can be excused but the one thing is that it wasn't that fucking early, the game was made in 2002, but it could have been done better.

but the one thing that was the biggest fucking error of the whole fucking game is the damn controles, I mean what the fuck, for one thing circles is shoot and r1 is aim, WTF!
Usually it's r1 that shoots and l1 that aims, but no they fuck us over and make it so damn confusing and make the game less fun and of course harder, there is certain appeal to the game and it does have fun to it but the fun is brought down by the shitty fucking controles.

I thing I have said enough, lets take a look at the final score.

If the controles had been done better this game would have been so much better, but they aren't as good as they could have been so, go ahead by the game but be warned the controles suck, Everything else is o.k and makes the game really good appart from the controles.

Rambo trilogy

As we all know there is a new rambo movie coming but one thing that many people have probably noticed is the error in the titles lets take a look.
The first movie was called "First blood", o.k thats pretty simple and easy to understand so nothing is wrong just yet, then we have "Rambo - First blood part 2" O.k it still has first blood in the title plus it has part 2 to it so that is still simple, and then we had "Rambo 3" WTF!
Rambo 3 wouldn't it be Rambo 2 first blood part 3 but no, they take the rambo title and confused the many great fans of the movies, o.k we all no that its the 3 movie but why the fuck couldn't they be consistent and keep the titles simmilar, but now we've got the new one, and relating it to rocky balboa many people thought that it was going to be called John Rmabo and they did but then they Changed it again to just "Rambo" WTF!
Why the fuck didn't they just call at least Rambo 4 because it's the 4th fucking movie or if anything if they had been consistent with the 3rd ones title they could have called it Rambo 3 first blood part 4 but no, hollywood just fucked us over, and I am never going to blame these title errors on Sylvestar Stalone, because he fucking rocks, just like in Rocky, keep kicking ass man, keep it up.

Now on with the reveiws of the actual movies.

First blood.

This movie was surprisingly well made, it didn't just have action all over the place it had action in al the right places plus with clever traps and suspencfull moments Rambo Kicks some serious ass in the first of this very successful series of movies,
Rambo, a vietnam vet comes from the war only to find his own personal war, after being pushed by many police officers in a small town rambo is now on the run to try and get away from them until he is accused of killing a police officer, and now left with no option the only man that could stop him is rambo's Commander, in this action drama stallone deliver a great emotional speech at the end, which for many people is a rare sighting to see an action hero get really emotional they you see him get .

Rambo - First blood part 2.

Rambo is back again and it is time to kick some more ass, in this action packed sequal, we see far more action and far more explosions, Rambo is taken out of prison by his own commander to go into vietnam and recuse prisoners, and if he completes the mossion then he will be set free from prison, but then some of the people that he was working with betray him and Rambo is left to find his own way out and rescue all the prisoners at the same time.

Will Rambo make it out alive?

Well yeah eitherwise there wouldn't be a sequal.

Rambo 3

This one of the 3 so far to what I have seen has definatly been the most action packed, I couldn't turn my back without turning around to see a fucking explsion or see some guy getting shot or stabbed, allthough I will have to say that the end sequence when Rambo and his comander are surrounded by tones of Jeeps, Tanks and Helicopters all they do is just Jump into a pit in the ground and shoot and them with a grenade launcher and an A-k 47 only to have tones of rebel soldiers show up and start kicking some ass, and after the rebels show up and after rambo had been shot at by over a hundred machine guns and rocket launchers he comes out without a fucking scrach, appart from this point in the movie it was pretty good, and kept the series going.

A breif history of consoles.

There have been many video game consoles over these many years from the magnebox odyssey all the way to the PS3, starting of with just one game per console heading towards hundreds of games on each.
Many of these have been successful however some of them just failed and faded away some like the magnebox odyssey were not very successful as there advertisements made it seem as though you could only play it on a magnebox T.V designed by the same company and not everyone had a TV like that at the time so they went out and bought a console that did the same thing and worked on all TV’s known as “Pong”.
One of the great classics was the Attari 2600 this console had the longest life span of any home gaming system, and in between it’s existence the same companies made other consoles which came and went one was called the Attari 5200 which was supposed to replace the 2600 but unfortunately it failed as the console for one thing was far too big and the controllers that came with the system never worked and some other controllers that were available were not compatible and though there were controllers that worked they were very hard to get a hold of and there for the most important aspect of the game was shattered as you couldn’t play it so there for it was scrapped and never saw the light of day again.
Then there were others like the Sega genesis which also had a long life span, not as long as the Attari 2600 though, but as new consoles came in to the works Sega had to try and keep the genesis alive, there were 2 attempts known as the sega cd and the sega 32X, these failed though, why, there are many reasons.

· It created a huge mess of cables on you floor.
o You have to connect the sega to the 32X.
o The sega to the sega cd.
o They each have there own power adapter.
§ In that case why not make it a separate console if it’s not going to run of the sega’s power.

I can’t really remember any reasons off the top of my head so what else can I say about the 32X other than it sucks!
The genesis in general was a really good console for the time but the attachments mentioned above just sucked balls and were some of the biggest failures of the time; however these attachments were made for the simple reason of keeping the genesis going to compete with its nemesis the super Nintendo also known as the SNES, but one thing still runs through my mind why the hell keep the console going, why not just make a console that’s better, but no, they just want to keep more bullshit leaching on the genesis and making the super Nintendo more popular than a console that some people say is on life support.
However after many consoles Sega eventually got it right with the Dreamcast but after the release of that console Sega had to leave the race of consoles having Microsoft and Sony stepping into the race, and now Sega is making games on consoles like the Nintendo Wii and the Xbox 360.
When Sony got into the race they created one of the most popular consoles ever made known only as the Playstation, which was one of the very few consoles that was successful in utilising discs, and then many years later came the PS2 and the PS3 but now the 2 main competitors are Microsoft and Sony we have 2 matches going on right now

Xbox VS. PS2
Xbox 360 VS. PS3

Who will win?
Only time will tell.

This has been a brief history of video game consoles, and believe me I haven’t gone through them all, I have just narrowed it down, maybe some day I will tell the rest of the history of the other consoles but that days is not today.

Rocky

Being that I haven't updated my page in over 5 days I think I owe it to whoever the hell reads this page to type up another half assed reveiw.

Today I have actually been watching a lot of movies iincluding "Armagedon" and "Rocky" 1 to 3 I am still to watching the other 3 but what can I say, but today I have chosen to reveiw the great Movie Rocky, maybe some other time I will reveiw Armagedon but today I will reveiw Rocky so lets get started.




As we all know there have been 6 Rocky movies and If anyone has seen any of them then they will know that the first one was the best, it all starts as a amature fighter Rocky Balboa is given a lucky shot at the big time from the current heavy weight champion Appollo Creed.

As many people will also know the best moment of the movie is the 2 minute montage scene in which rocky is in training for the fight with Appollo, Stalone not only shows the right attitude for the carachter or the right voice but also the right physical ability of which no one would want to mess with unless you have reel balls.

Stalone gives what s probably his best performance after Mickey leaves his appartment after offering to be Rocky's manager, a brilliant dramatic monologue.

What else can I say about this amazing, awesome, great, kick ass boxing drama other than this, lets take a look at the final score.

The sequal aren't as good as the first to what I have seen but they are pretty good and worth watching so don't doubt watching the other films.

V for Vendetta

If you haven't seen this movie.......I'm sorry I can't speak to you anymore, this is with out a doubt one of my favourite films of all time, what better than to have the writters of the matrix trilogy come in and write a script for a movie based on a DC comic.



The movie had everything that it should have had, drama, fught scenes, explosions and safisticated speaches from "V", the one speech that stood out in my mind was his speach that he gives when he meet the girl "Evey", I couldn't understand a word that he said in that speech but thats what makes it so damn cool, I even manged to memorise the whole thing, I know that nis kinda sad but but now I can show off with the speach whenever the fuck I feel like it, like when I am in a situation like in the movie when V gave that speach, but then what if the person I said it to understood it and reported me to the police for plots of treason, I suppose I might have to look at a dictionary.

But the whole movie what entertainning there wasn't a single moment that I didn't enjoy except for the moment with the molesting bishop, but then "V" kills the fucker so I guess it all worked out.

There was something that I think I should tell you, when I was reading the reveiw of this movie on radiotimes.com the ctritic said that this movie was

"Overly Dramatic".

What the fuck is she talking about, that was the fucking idea, plus how the fuck could smething be overly dramatic, this bitch complains about stuff being tooo gory, toop scary adn now she's saying it's "overly Dramatic"?

I am not going to bother bitching about that critic, lets just take a look at the final score.

It would have been five but the intro was just a bit rushed, I hate to say that, even thuogh the intro was very good it was jsut a bit rushed, but appart from that I would say 4 stars as it was fucking AWESOME!

It's new month at last!

Welsome to febuary readers, if you are one of those people who live in their parents basement and have no concept the outside world and request regular stock ups on food and never go outside because you are afraid of the possibility of catching disease then you probably have no idea the it is febuary, hell you probably have no idea that it's 2008 unless you watched one of those shows at new year, but anyways, why am I typing this artical?
Because personally for me this month has been the slowest January for me, EVER!
Even though I have been doing tones of fun shit it's still been pretty fucking slow, I mean, I have been out to see new movies, I have bought new games, I have been making new videos, I been learning awesome tunes on the guitar, I have been playing basketball, I have unfortunatly been going to school and sitting prelim exams which fucking suck donkey cock, and yet somehow this fucking month has notmanaged to go by any fucking faster than it has been going by as slow as hell, a turtle could move faster than this month gone by.
A lot of you who are reading this artical are probably totally fucking confused and have no idea what the fucking I am talking about and I am robably wasting your time so I'm just going to try and finish the prolonged artical.
I have been busy but also I will soon be getting to work on weirdo's episode 2 however it has been hard to get all the people together so what the fuck can I do, one day only one of them is available and the other one is not, but hopefully we will get to wor on it very soon so if anyone actually cares stop moaning it will be out hopefully this month if not next month.

The top 5 comic movies of all time

Welcome all to another list somewhat thought out top fives,today we are going to take a look at the top five greatest comic movies of time so, to be perfectly honest with you I didn't have as much trouble coming up with the list as I am I am trying to write this damn artical, but anyways lets see how the list went.

5. The mask
I cannot tell you how much i loved this movie when I was a kid, and i still cannot tell you how much I love it now, Jim Carrey was the perfect man to play this character if anyone can think of someone else tell me, if you can, watch the movie again as you obviously have no idea what the fuck you are talking about, so what can I say this movie rocks, that is why it is on this list because it rocks ass!

4. Batman.
Tim Burton, you rock, except when you did Charlie and the chocolate factory, but anyways, what can i say about this movie other than the fact that it was the first proper portraile of the capped crusader, rather than having him wear tights and run around with his gay sidekick, they had him in armour and running around with awesome gadgets, and Kicking the Jokers ass!
This film fucking rocks!

3.Superman.
It's a bird, it's a plane, no it's a totally awesome movie starring Christopher Reeve, as Superman!
The man of steel makes his first movie in this great adaptation of the comics, re-telling the story of how superman got to earth and how he has his powers, and he becomes superman and kicks the ass of lex luthor and nearly get the girl, Louis Lane, what can I say, it's true to the comic, and the plot it's slef is graet, what else can I say about this movie other than it rocks!

2. The Crow.
Brandon Lee is the best thing about this movie, his performance shines brighter than a recently washed car, o.k i understand the movie has a dark setting but his performance still shined man, Eric Draven coms back from the dead to avenge the death of both him and his soon to be wife, how much better can you get, oh wait a second you could be our number one.

1. Spider-man.
Once again I cannot stress how much i love this movie, true the second movie was great aswell but the 3rd one could have been better even though it still rocked, but anyways, the first in the series is always going to be the better one and it shows, Peter Parker is bitten by a geneticall enhanced spider and becomes, SPIDER-MAN! And after the death of his uncle Ben he goes out to find the one who supposodly killed him and afterwards goes on to save the city and kick the green goblins ass!
This is number one because it rocks harder than any of the other ones on this list, even though the crow was still kcik ass this is just slightly better.
